Fuel Consumption
I've been keeping track of the fuel consumption in my VW Transporter Syncro over the last 5 months and in that time I've covered 6217 miles and used 758 litres of fuel (167 Gallons). I've also had the roof box fitted during the whole time.
Please see the table below.
Imperial MPG | US MPG | Litres Per 100 KM | |
Average Consumption | 37.29 | 31.05 | 7.58 |
Worst Consumption | 32.85 | 27.36 | 8.60 |
Best Consumption | 41.68 | 34.71 | 6.78 |

Hi there, what an amazing blog you've put together. We're planning to convert either a T5 or a T4 pannel van into a camper. I was wondering if you could give me some advice? which engine is better? anything i should look for etc
cheers

if you want good fuel consumption and not too much power a 2.4D is fine !
i run mine on WVO so it only cost £24 to fill up too.
Hi, possibly the wrong section but can any one advise re the rear spring fitment for my T4 2.4D syncro SWB? Will any heavy duty spring from a SWB fit?
Thanks
