Hello everyone. I have not updated this blog for some time but I still have the T4 Syncro and I now also have a T4 Syncro DOKA that I'm doing another conversion on. I have imported all the posts from this blog into a new blog located here and I plan to update this regularly and also add the backlog of posts for the past few years. I will keep this blog live for prosperity.

T4 Syncro for sale

I received an email today from Glen the guy who was selling the blue T4 on ebay and he has another T4 for sale. This time it is a rare Syncro 102bhp T4 which was originally used by Transco, I was interested as it was a rare van so I gave him a call.

He told me that the van was a 2000 plate in good condition and had covered 85000 miles with FSH and a printout from the leasing company. He told me he was after £5000 for it as it was a rare model and he had fitted some brand new Audi wheels and tyres which owed him 500 quid, he intended to put the van on ebay by the weekend and seemed sure he would have no problem selling it. So basically if I was interested I'd have to do something quick, so I asked him if he could email me some pictures of the van and said he would do later that day.

After I'd spoken to him I did a quick search on Autotrader and found a trader selling the same ex T4 transco syncro vans for £5500. However in the whole country this was the only other syncro for sale, so they were certainly a rare beast. I had never really considered a syncro before and I've never owned a four wheel drive but thought it would probably be very useful as we'd nearly got stuck in a boggy field we'd camped in during May bank holiday. I would also like to take my van to the alps skiing at some point so I was really interested.
